As the Production & Technical Manager, you'll be the guardian of seamless performances and events, ensuring every technical detail is a masterpiece in the making.
But here's where your expertise comes into play:
- Technical Maestro: Lead the technical ballet, from lighting and audio to AV, staging, and rigging. Your knowledge will be the key to unlocking stunning productions.
- System Whisperer: Maintain and enhance the venue's technical systems, keeping them in perfect harmony. You'll be the go-to expert for equipment and documentation.
- Production Architect: Plan and execute productions and events, turning creative visions into reality. Interpret technical riders with finesse and deliver solutions that wow.
- People & Resource Conductor: Orchestrate production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation. Your leadership will inspire and mentor casual staff, creating a well-oiled machine.
- Safety Champion: OH&S compliance is non-negotiable. You'll ensure safe work practices, risk assessments, and a culture of safety excellence.
- Relationship Builder: Foster strong connections with hirers, presenters, and suppliers. Your communication skills will be the glue that binds successful collaborations.
- Financial Strategist: Manage technical budgets, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring every dollar is a well-invested note in the theatre's symphony.

Your Mission:
- Showcase your technical and production management prowess within the performing arts.

- Share your experience with power loading, ETC Eos Nomad, fly systems, and rigging scenery.
- Lead with confidence, having managed technical teams and casual crew effectively.
- Communicate and engage stakeholders, interpreting technical requirements with ease.
- Understand and uphold theatre OH&S standards.
- Be available for evening and weekend work, embracing the theatre's dynamic schedule.
Bonus Skills: Test & Tag, Working at Heights, rigging expertise, and console proficiency (Allen & Heath, Midas, Yamaha) will make your application shine.
